Thanks mainly to the movies and gaming industries, Los Angeles is one of those places most of the world feels familiar with without ever visiting. A simple image of a residence and a vehicle (although unlikely related) creates an instant narrative. Combining those two statements fundamentally elevates that narrative.

I followed my muse and shot this image from the roadside just off the interstate, went back to my hotel and developed the images (in the bathroom) because I was worried about the x-ray scanners in LAX.

Only on returning home did it strike me how similar it was to the Rust map
