Melancholic nostalgia sits at the heart of Albie’s practice. He aims to create new physical spaces through drawing and installation to hold and revisit personal emotional memories, transporting the experience of significant spaces from an old home into the new. Albie constructs emotional totems within his drawing and sculpture. He also composes music as part of his installations.
