Born in Cornwall I grew up in a creative environment and painted from a very young age. I moved to London at 18 to study art at university where I studied a mixture of skills – painting, life drawing, ceramics, and print. Since graduating I have focused on painting, selling in London, Cornwall and the Middle East. The coastline of Cornwall jas always been my inspiration, the amazing light, the huge and ever changing skies and beautiful dramatic coastline. My work is fairly abstract, I hope to exude a calmness in the use of colour and line, and build an atmosphere in a painting which draw you in and allows you to imagine yourself there, stood on a cliff, a becah or behind the dunes, exposed to the elements and the unpredictability of nature.
